A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, actor Paul Perroni is best known for his star turn in Wendy's long-running "3conomics" commercial campaign (awarded Campaign Of The Year by Kirshenbaum, Bond and Partners), and as the detective in Monster.com's "Crime Scene" spot (viewer-nominated for TBS Funniest Commercial of 2009 Award).
After studying at The Second City in Chicago, Paul began to perform standup, and toured for over two years as the star of the hit solo comedy show DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN which he has performed more than 600 times both off-Broadway and in theaters across the country including Connecticut's famed Long Wharf Theatre, Pittsburgh CLO, and the renowned Addison Improv Comedy Club in Dallas, Texas.
Other regional theater work includes the hit touring remount of LOUIS & KEELY LIVE AT THE SAHARA (The Royal George, The Geffen, Laguna Playhouse), as well as work at Chicago's Northlight Theatre, The Apollo, Redtwist, Victory Gardens, and the Oak Park Theater Festival, while his New York credits include John Cassavetes' SHADOWS staged by Obie-Winning theater company Hoi Polloi at JACK theater, a workshop of THE ATWATER PROJECT (playing controversial politician Lee Atwater) with terraNOVA Collective, and a staged reading of Jack Kerouac's BEAT GENERATION, with LAByrinth Theater Company.
Paul's TV and film credits include CBS' AS THE WORLD TURNS, PEEP SHOW for Spike TV, the indie feature films DERAILING, and ANIMALS, and he can currently be seen in the central role of "Denzel" in the cult hit webseries PREMATURE
(winner of the Hollywoodshorts Film Festival Audience Choice Award).
